Our Orchestras
Orchestra is avaiable to all students in 6-8th grade at Liberty and Lincoln Middle Schools. We have two orchestras, the 6th grade orchestra, and the 7th + 8th grade orchestra. We meet for instruction daily during activity period. We have many performance opportunities throughout the year, including concerts, assemblies, and other community events. Anyone is eligible to participate in orchestra at LMS.
Mrs. Missy Banker
Mrs. Banker is the Orchestra Director at Liberty Middle School. She is excited to begin her 10th year teaching, and is happy to be at Liberty! She has been playing the cello since the age of 3, and enjoys performing professionally. When Mrs. Banker is not teaching or performing, she enjoys adventuring with her husband, her new baby Max, and their cat, Space Ghost!
Ms. Maggie Watts
Ms. Watts is so excited to be returning as the Orchestra Director at Lincoln Middle School! She began playing violin in 4th grade and since then has loved studying different styles of music. Currently, she performs professionally in two orchestras and a country band! In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is looking forward to her 7th year in the District 7 orchestra program!
